Let’s head North!!!

The Chase’n Race’n /P&R Photos crew will load up this week and head to Caroga Creek Speedway for a date with the racers and families of the New York Dirt Karting Series. CCS is one badass lil bullring, which is why it is perhaps our favorite track in the Empire State. The stop on the schedule was originally slated for Ransomville Speedway, but promoter Shawn Jeffery made the move a few weeks ago to return to CCS, which again, suits us just fine! lol. Our schedule has been limited so…

Despite Rumors, NKL All-American Blow-Out is a go!!!!

Seriously?! Sometimes you just have to sit back and laugh at the absurdity of some of the BS you see online, particularly Social Media, especially when it comes to the karting world. Well, the latest “gossip” is that NKL promoter Rodney Byers has pulled the plug on this weekend’s bash at Patriot Speedway in Blacksburg SC. As Maury would say, “that is a lie”!!!! Contrary to rumors and the gossip mill, Byers and track promoter Boyd Maloney has reaffirmed that beyond a doubt, this event will happen. It’s pathetic that…

Ozark visits KC Raceway

Hello everyone, yeah it’s been awhile since we’ve met here on Chase’n Race’n Online. Fact is, life has changed for us quite dramatically, and we are still sorting things out here in 2016 as we move forward. As it has turned out so far, 2016 is the slowest “coverage” year we’ve had since started photographing kart racing some twenty years ago. Somewhat knowing the direction of our companies was changing back around New Years, while covering an event in Nebraska, we struck up a deal with a friend, Jimmy…

Marred Season Opener for NKL……

Marred Season Opener for NKL……

Sometimes, things just don’t happen as planned. The season opener for the 2016 campaign of the National Karting League was originally scheduled for Feb 13th. But a brutal cold forecast shoved the show back a week, to this past Saturday. Even with that, Mother Nature tried her dead level best to screw things up with the wet stuff. After a lil more than a 4 hour delay, the show finally got underway. Faced with a long day, the event staff and racers alike were in tune, hustling to make the…

NKL setting on GO!!!…Will kick off 2016 season Saturday at Dawgwood……

Despite an iffy weather forecast, promoter Rodney Byers has given a green light for the action this weekend (as of 3pm today) in Chatsworth, GA. The Peachstate Shoot-Out was originally scheduled for last weekend, but brutally cold temps forced postponement. This weekend has been in question since the announcement was made. At this point, only one forecast outlet has a 50% or better chance of the wet stuff for the Chatsworth area. With make-up dates scarce, and the desire to get the season underway, there’s just no way to bail…

Chase’n Race’n / P&R heading to Chatsworth this weekend… maybe!

That’s right, maybe! lol. Mother Nature and her bi-polar ass is playing games with our schedule again! National Karting League promoter Rodney Byers, in the interest of comfort and safety postponed his 2016 opener last week, due to extreme cold temps. It appears that postponing to this weekend may not be in the cards. Now, while the temps are much more conducive to racing, the likelihood of rain suggests we might need outboards on the karts. If it all works out, we’ll be at Dawgwood Speedway for the 2016 season…

Welcome to the latest incarnation of Chase’n Race’n Online!!

It’s a new year, meaning it’s time to get on the road and check out some racing action. Admittedly, our efforts fell short in the latter part of 2015, so we’re changing gears in an effort to streamline, and expedite the process of covering the action for our followers. It’s no secret that social media has wreaked havoc on any form of “news and information” outlet. Regardless of what activity we’re talking about, you can bet the house, the car, and the boat that someone will be onsite posting to…
